Biography

Marcus Tgettis is the Vice President of Talent Strategy at Rapid7, a leading Cybersecurity company that turns data into insights.  Rapid7 is trusted by more than 6000 organizations in 100+ countries including nearly 40% of the Fortune 100.

Marcus is responsible for building the talent programs and strategies that attract, hire, engage, and develop Rapid7’s people.  Previously, Marcus was the Vice President of Human Resources at Constant Contact, which was acquired by Endurance International in February 2016.

Prior to Constant Contact, Marcus held various HR leadership positions at Akamai, the world’s leading cloud platform and content delivery network, and ESPN, the worldwide leader in Sports.

Marcus holds a BS from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.  He is an advisory board member for the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council, Babson College, and ReacHire.   Marcus has appeared in the The Boston Globe, Boston Business Journal, and New York Times and he is a regular blog contributor and public speaker on talent related topics.

A former athlete, Marcus still enjoys health and fitness.  He and his wife, Melissa, reside with their two children in North Andover, Massachusetts.
